Hello, I'm Reagan

The dog photographer who gets it.

Simple line drawing sketch of people in casual poses.

Hey friend — I’m Reagan, a Colorado-based pet photographer with a soft spot for puppy dog eyes, wagging tails, and moments that matter. I’m the girl who tears up during golden hour, squeals over your pup’s head tilt, and will hype you up like we’ve been besties for years (because by the end of your session, we basically will be).

My approach

Woman in patterned dress and wide-brim hat enjoys golden hour under wooden pergola.

Before I ever dreamed of becoming a dog photographer, I had Sophie—my golden retriever, my heart dog, and one of my biggest comfort during life’s messiest moments. She had a sixth sense for my emotions and a very specific weakness for Aldi croissants. When we lost her to cancer, it hit me hard—but what stuck was the regret: I didn’t have any photos that truly captured her spirit. That gap became my mission. Today, I create the kind of images I wish I had of Sophie—photos that feel like your dog, so their story is never left untold.

Before this was a career, it was a calling. I spent years volunteering at animal shelters, photographing everyone from timid souls who’d never known kindness to wiggly puppies who peed on my shoes (but no hard feelings, haha!). That experience taught me how to notice every little personality and shaped the way I work today: with gentleness, joy, and loads of patience. “Hard to photograph” pup? Never met one. However your dog shows up, I’ll help them shine—because every dog deserves to be seen, and your story deserves to be told.

Making You Feel at Home

And if you're nervous about being in front of the camera? Same. I totally get it. Can I tell you a secret? I still can feel awkward on that side of the camera too. That’s why I’ve dedicated myself to mastering posing and creating an experience that feels effortless, encouraging, and even fun. You’ll leave your session feeling confident, known, and genuinely excited about the moments we captured.

I’m a recovering perfectionist turned purpose-driven creative: wildly organized, full of energy, and rooted in the belief that excellence is a form of love.

And I’d be so honored to tell your story.

We were looking for someone incredible to photograph our family, specifically to capture photos of our elderly dog, and we are SO glad we came across Reagan. She was absolutely amazing. She is very professional, communicative, patient and extremely skilled at photography. She captured us perfectly despite dealing with freezing temperatures and a pup with altitude sickness. The pictures speak for themselves really! You must book her immediately, you will not regret capturing the best memories of you and your pets!
